Humble beginnings:

The startup inventory of season four (1990) of LeisureTime Golf Cars.

LeisureTime Golf Cars began in 1987 when a friend asked then owner Bill Noehl to repair an ill-running golf car. He worked out of his backyard in rural New Hampton to complete that first service job. Soon after, Bill purchased two used E-Z-GO golf cars, fixed them up, and sold them locally.

Word quickly spread of Bill's handy work with golf cars, and soon the requests for repairs and service were coming in more frequently. Golf course managers began calling on Bill, too. As the demand for lease contracts and rental golf car emerged, he slowly increased his inventory to accommodate the demand.

After a few years, Bill and Linda's 2 acres of manicured lawn was covered in a sea of golf cars. It was time to separate business and home, so in 1991 LeisureTime Golf Cars moved to its current 32,000 square foot facility on Linn Ave (Old Hwy 63) South of New Hampton, Iowa.

While Nick grew up with golf cars every day, he quickly jumped on board full-time after graduation.  He learned every facet of the business from the shop to the sales floor under Bill's tutelage.

In 2018, Bill took the opportunity to retire and hand over the daily business operations to, Nick.  Even though he's not here every day, you may still see him helping out with deliveries now and then.  Nick and his wife Leslie purchased LeisureTime Golf Cars and continue to expand the business every year.  In 2022, their son Connor joined the staff and now represents the 3rd generation at LeisureTime Golf Cars.
